Great pub! Amazing outdoor kids space! Very kid and dog friendly! Gluten free options are really good. Staff are friendly and attentive. Wonderful to be sitting outside and relaxing in a family friendly atmosphere. Only slight downside is food portions are very big..
Very good meal, excellent starters, good mains and delicious puddings. Food came quickly, hot and well presented. Make sure to explore the garden burger bar menu too. Staff very friends and nothing too much trouble. Lovely location and somewhere for the kids to play safely.
First time visit and really enjoyed it. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Plenty of parking available and good choice on the menu . Didn't have to wait but I imagine it would get busy in the evenings as we went lunchtime and it was filling up, so a booking might be a good idea which can be done on their website. Maybe a little on the pricey side but in my opinion it was worth it.
A lovely country pub with excellent food, staff and atmosphere. I visited with my elderly mother who is on crutches, the staff were so considerate to our needs. My mother had the haddock and chips which was a very large portion and delicious. I had the Best of British platter, it was truly delicious. I only just managed to finish it.
This restaurant was superb in every way. The attention to detail was superb and I highly recommend the soup as a starter! That’s the best butternut squash soup I have ever had! And the napkins all had the Duke of Cambridge symbol on them which I thought was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this restaurant and the food was amazing! Keep up the excellent work and quality.
Good fish pie and staff were nice. The rosemary and Parmesan chips were ordinary chips, and when I told the waiter, he came back saying that you couldn't see it, but it was sprinkled on it,...uhmmm. unfortunately they couldn't have been as they tasted the same as the ordinary chips we also ordered.
This has to be the best Sunday roast I have ever had. The four of us all had different choices and the quality was incredible. We will be back as we were completely blown away by th food and beer.Food: 5/5
The portions of food it was okay. Attentive staff. I didn't like the triple cook chips with cheese sauce, the sauce was bland.Food: 4/5
Excellent! Ned greeted and introduced himself to our group of ~20, and he and the team really looked after us throughout our time at The Duke of Cambridge. No issues with our pre-ordering of food - everyone received what they had ordered, and the food was excellent overall. The crab cake and bisque was excellent, and is one of the tastiest things I have eaten in some time! The bar staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, and were happy to provide more info about the wine and beer that was available. Thanks to the team for looking after us. Highly recommended!
A first Class Sunday lunch and the Food was both tasty and nicely layed out. I think three bit of the pork would of been better but that is a small point. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the table serves was OK. The only issue was the table was near the door and it did not help in keeping the meal warm. The table wine was lovely. Overall a nice experience if you book a nice table.
