Booked in here last minute as I couldn't get in with my usual lady. I had two treatments booked. Unfortunately I arrived 20 minutes late due to traffic and not being to familiar with the area. The lady explained that she could only do one treatment which was fair enough due to me being late.  The woman was really nice and my god she was super quick! She said she would keep checking if any cancellations were made for me which she did a couple of times through out the treatment. The next lady due after me had arrived but the therapist, I wished I had taken her name, popped back in to me to say that if I didn't mind waiting for 15 minutes she would be able to squeeze me in. So glad she did because the second treatment I had using Lycon wax was one of the most quickest and, surprisingly, as painless as you can get with waxing I have ever had. She chatted with me which put me at ease and now I am left disappointed because I wouldn't hesitate to go here again but I live so far away. 
Definitely would come again if I am near the area. The only reason I didn't give full stars is due to the call I made prior to setting off. I asked where the nearest place to park would be and the lady who answered the phone didn't know.

Never disappointed! Lovely girls and nice clean salon every time. My first waxing experience was made to be a comfortable experience and Cherise made conversation so my mind was distracted 😂. Always love my lash extensions too. Highly recommend the waxing studio ❤️ x x

I have been coming here since it opened and would never dream of going elsewhere. Treatment is always by Abbey who is friendly and chatty as well as discreet. Top service every visit! Definitely recommend!

Really great service. Quick. Used Lycon wax, which is so much better and isn't used everywhere. Friendly beauticians. Prices are reasonable/ comparable to those around, but better wax. Good with thick/curly/afro hair. Don't drive though as town traffic is bad/ no parking nearby/ town parking really expensive. This place will be my new regular.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, however, I am so disgusted by the service I have been provided that I felt compelled to warn others away from suffering the same sorry fate that I have. 

I read the bad reviews of this salon before I decided to make an appointment, and thought the good outweighs the bad and decided to give this salon a whirl (again, dont make this mistake). 

I walked into the salon, ready for my appointment and straight away I felt a bad vibe; It isn’t a relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. There wasn’t an offer of any refreshments or a warm smile to welcome you through the door or even a courteous “hello, how are you”. They just take your name and ask you to take a seat. 

When I was finally called for my appointment, I followed the therapist to the room (which is in dire need of some redecoration). The therapist didn’t give me any instructions as of what to do. I understand it isn’t rocket science, but given it was my first time at the salon it would have been courteous to give a bit more of an explanation. I stripped off, and waited for the therapist to come back to begin waxing - I had booked in for a Brazilian, by the way. 

Now, I understand that I was to expect some pain, but a little bit of a breather would have been welcomed so I could compose myself. It was the most rushed job I had ever encountered!! The therapist was kind enough to ask me what sort of strip I would like; I did ask for a triangle, I was hoping for an equilateral triangle but instead have been left with a scalene. After the damage had been done,  she asked if the shape was ok for me but it was too late - I had already been plucked like a spring chicken. 

The therapist then instructed me to get dressed and scarpered out the room, WITHOUT discussing any aftercare! Can I have a hot bath? Can I go in the sunbed? Can I go and do exercise? Well I wouldn’t know because I was never told!! Thankfully, my friends have been to professionals who have expained this to them, so have been able to relay the information to me. 

I was then hoping to have the pleasure of paying the therapist for the torture I had endured. Instead, I was left waiting for a good 40 seconds at the till whilst another lady, who I presume was supposed to be manning reception (if you could even call it that) applied her lipstick. 

Given this is supposed to be a professional establishment I am amazed at the lack of professional treatment they provide. After discussing my experience with some friends, it turns out she has actually used the wrong wax! Hot wax and strips are NOT meant to be used for intimate areas, only bikini lines. 

In all honesty, you couldn’t pay me to come back here.
