From our purpose built premises on Thornhill Road we remain committed to the provision of excellent medical care. The doctors are lovely but the receptionists are totally useless! The phone rarely gets answered I called 26 times and still couldn't get through. I've been sitting in the waiting room listening to the phone ringing for 20 minutes or more and they are sitting chatting, an absolute disgrace.

The one star is for the nurses and health visitors who are amazing. The receptionist can be rather rude and often pick up the receiver just to hang up on you. I just tried to call to make an appointment for my one year old and it rang out twice totalling just over an hour. It's atrocious. They also have the cheek to tell you to find a new surgery if you miss two appointments. The practice manager sends you a bollocking via letter if you miss one! I'm looking around for a new gp.

Ps they also lost my prescription so I have to wait for a reprint. Total joke.

Whilst the doctors are lovely, reception is absolutely useless! Every time I've ever tried to make an appoinment with them it takes several hours and more than a dozen calls just to even get through to reception.

Don't even bother trying if you want an emergency appointment!!

After 13 calls over the last hour I'm now being redirected to NHS 24 and 111 whenever I call. It has literally been the same problem every single time I've ever tried to make an appointment with them.
Worst Practice I've ever been with.

I will be going to citizens advice bureau about this medical centre point blank useless will be going 2 another doctors

Shocking waiting times and the doctors have little time.  That may be down to NHS? The office manager was extremely rude when I spoke to her.  Far cry from when Dr Leonard was a Doctor at the practice!!
