This is the worst doctors I've ever had the misfortune of encountering. The doctors don't care about patients, the receptionists have chips on their shoulders and would rather sit and gigle in their office than actually do their job, it takes an hour to get through to make an appointment and then the appointments are not with doctors. When my partner attended with breathing issues, he was dismissed and ended up in hospital with angry consultants demanding why he was not referred back to them by the doctors. Avoid this surgery if you are able.
As soon as you call at 8 as soon as they are open you get an engaged tone and cut off. Tried 97 times and when eventually got through around lunchtime to be told no appointments and to call back again the next day. Reception staff need to be put on a course for training in being polite and sympathetic to patients. Atrocious
I have been with this practice since the 80's & it is no longer the decent practice it used to be. It is practically impossible to get through to get an appointment, you are held in a queue for up to 15-20 mins & are then told there are no appointments. Seriously considering changing medical practices!!
Disgusting place. Friends have been denied exemption from jury duty due to “civic duty” when they suffer from many difficulties in life. Jury duty is not something that this individual would manage to cope with and there is proof of this. Doctors should take a look at what their profession means and how being in such a position mental health should be taken seriously.
Not a word of exaggeration, one of the worst practices of all time. Almost impossible to get an appointment. You phone up at EXACTLY 8AM and yet you are somehow 10th in a que, wait an hour and a half to speak to someone, only to be told there's no appointments. Go literally ANYWHERE else.
Unhelpful 1 hour on phone trying to make appointments for wife reception staff don't listen nhs24 said make a face to face appointment with GP they want to give telephone appointments with a nurse....note for Google how about a minus star rating one star is generous
Worst GP service I've ever had the misfortune of using. Had no choice over which practice I was assigned to, due to current NHS situation. Every single touch point seems to be deliberately set up to make you give up in frustration. Took over a month to get an appointment. Having to call two days in advance and on a queuing system meant multiple instances of being on the phone for over an hour, then to be told I'd missed the 8-9am appointments call slot, or for the line to just suddenly go dead. Was refused a forward referral from a GP for a specialist because the doctor 'didn't know me well enough' what utter drivel is that? I have years of medical notes and history - all around the topic - maybe try reading them? Perhaps ask me some questions about my condition and get to know me a bit? No, of course not, let's just refuse instead, and hope they go away. They gave my prescription to a random pharmacy without my knowledge or permission. Not a handy one for me either, not even sure of the legality of that one from a GDPR data protection perspective. Avoid at all costs, go literally anywhere else. The multiple negative reviews on here are not by accident.
Worst experience ever overall , virtually impossible to call them, they have a very dismissive way to work. Useless centre any Pharmacy can assist you better .... Pity 1* is the minimum i can give otherwise i would no even give that ....
The queue is a pain, that is true, but I have always found the receptionists to be be sympathetic, polite and understanding. I've been triaged to a nurse, called back when they said they would and they've treated me to the same standards.
Absolute joke of a medical centre. The Dr's are lovely when you manage to see one. The queueing system is beyond annoying. On hold for over an hour to be told no appointments. Rude receptionists. Will be looking to move Dr's ASAP. Do not attend here
