This was a great venue at one time, but with different ownership went down hill very fast. In recent times it was a disaster and is now closed.

Very poor experience on Saturday! A large group of my family went for a meal in the Villager to remember my granny who has been deceased one year. We had to order the food earlier in the week to make sure that the chef knew what was all needed. The starters all came out fine and they were quite nice, then when the main meals came out there were a few problems. Firstly the pepper sauce for the steaks was burnt and tasted awful, the burgers were very dry and had nothing on them and what topped it off was i had ordered a roast dinner which never came! I don't know how a food order can be placed on a Wednesday and they can still get it wrong. Very disappointed and feel that the owner has let us down big time! Definitely wont be back! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after our experience.
