We enjoyed an excellent tasty three course evening meal here. The views are spectacular as is the food. The bass was delicious and the dark chocolate sublime. Cost was a secondary consideration. Book your table well in advance and enjoy the experience :
The restaurant has great view, the food was fresh and well seasoned. the waiting staff was friendly and helpful, I would recommend to sit outside when weather is good so that you can enjoy the best view.
Very good food. A little expensive but well worth it. Book a table in advance is advisable and if possible request a table by a window, there’s a reason why it’s called the view. Great service and truly fantastic food.
Great service, great view of course!, delicious seafood calimari, mackerel, brill. A good effort and good results from the kitchen to accommodate a dairy intolerance. Highish prices justified. Overall highly recommended.
Isn’t it just great to have a local restaurant service good quality food and service. Well this is the place! You need to try their seafood options as it’s just amazing. The price is reasonably higher than normal as you are at a sea side. But the view should you book in advance to get the window side tables will add to your dining experience.
Great views over Whitsand Bay and superb food.
I only give this restaurant four stars because the starter baby squid and octopus was not as good I was expecting but however the Lamb certainly made up for the disappointment and the Chocolate mouse which states 20 min wait was certainly worth it!! It was so good that I have cancelled tomorrow’s lunch on my birthday at a two star Michelin restaurant to come back here instead, if not for the food which is excellent , especially for the View pardon the pun!!
Outstanding food without a doubt one of my favourite places to eat and of course one of the best views in Cornwall hence the name
Beautiful place to eat lunch or dinner we went in the evening and it was wonderful. Staff attentive , food wonderful, portion size great and views fantastic .
We went for afternoon tea and sat outside on the terrace. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and it's a lovely - well done up place. It did seem to fill up over lunch time, even on a weekday during term time so it might be worth booking ahead if you'd like to sit indoors.
