Dogs are welcome and we managed to meet some very friendly fur babies Absolutely gorgeous! Myself and my partner were camping next door and decided to try the Cafe for breakfast and were absolutely blown away with how amazing everything was. Firstly the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming which was lovely and we were made to feel at home in an instant. It's rather busy so it's better to pre-book before coming but the atmosphere is soft and warm, the layout is small but not cramped and the restaurant as a whole is very spacious. I'd like to give Emily a special mention as she is an incredible asset to your team, she's so friendly and helpful. Whilst I was trying to figure out what I needed to do to book a table she kindly talked me through the menu and how long the wait would be and went the extra mile to reserve a table once it had become available for us. Emily thank you so much! You are incredible and the mf bomb! Thank you! When you arrive you're immediately hit with a pleasant smell of freshly cooked breakfast and freshly ground coffee. The menu is small but they have a wide range of options to choose from including a veggie option which is good. We both ordered 2 cappuccinos and The Big Salty for the both of us and waited- considering they've got a small team of staff they are very timely and get orders out as soon as possible. The Bacon is fresh and thick cut which is just incredible, the eggs are well fried, just everything about the food we had was incredible! Thank you Salty Dog! I highly recommend to anyone passive through towards Millbrook and beyond.
The breakfasts here are first-rate, with high quality ingredients, well cooked, presented and served. Good cappuccino too. Friendly staff and dogs are made welcome.Food: 5/5
Don’t carry on driving! Had the Deli rustic roll and the loaded fries… banging. Beaut Cappuccino too and Dog friendly. Do it!
Wow what a cafe! Delicious food, great service. Can't wait to visit again when we're next visiting Whitsands. Cornishware an added extra which made me smile.

We had such a lovely time here with our little boy. The “light salty” was delicious and the sausage bap was amazing. The staff gave our boy some stickers and really engaged with him. Will definitely be back. Thank you
I found this place recently. Mum has dementia and it was perfect. The staff are always pleasant and patient. The food is brilliant and prices very reasonable and their Americano is awsome. We go regularly now and it's a small little refuge in a lovely spot. Thanks guys Chris and Denise x

A great place The Salty Dog. Always an enjoyable and tasty lunch out. Spacious and meticulously clean. Today had their homemade fish goujons and handcut chips with lemon mayo & salad. Absolutely delicious. So good i will have again on my next visit ! Thankyou. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice including an all day veggie brunch with the superb bubble & squeak which is so tasty ! Parking: Easy parking outside around the cafe.
Superb home cooked food we had the tomato soup with toastie and the best cup of coffee I’ve had in ages, from anywhere. Thorough recommend.
