We are cosy, friendly, traditional pub serving delicious food and have four beautiful ensuite rooms.

Muddy boots, dogs and children all very welcome!

Story

The Edgcumbe Arms is situated in the village of Cremyll on the banks of the River Tamar and has fabulous views to Drakes Island and Plymouth Sound.

We have two bars and a function room upstairs (which has excellent views) and can be booked for private functions. Our function room can be hired for small weddings, parties, meetings and we can cater for baby naming ceremonies. We also hold a civil wedding licence and our function room can hold approx 45 people comfortably for a sit down meal. We also cater for coaches (using the carvery option) by prior appointment.

We welcome muddy boots, walkers, children and dogs (dogs have there own area of the restaurant).

We serve food everyday Monday - Sunday starting at 10am for breakfast and 12pm - 8.30pm for our other menus. In addition to our extensive snack and main menus we also feature our very popular carvery which is available Monday - Friday lunchtimes 12pm - 2.30pm, Saturdays 12pm -2.30pm and 6pm - 8.30pm and Sundays 12pm - 8.30pm. Booking is advised for Sunday sittings.

Don't miss ours specials board featuring fresh fish dishes and some of the chef's favourites. We use local produce wherever possible and all our meat is from Cornish suppliers

Our drinks range features locally sourced St Austell Ales: Tribute & Proper Job and Healeys Cornish Rattler Cider in addition to a carefully selected wine list and soft drinks too.

We also have four recently refurbished ensuite guest rooms all with river views, please see our website for further information.

A last minute booking that proved to be a real gem...!!! Arrived late, but nothing was too much trouble... to the extent that Harry and the guys directed us to the car park by standing outside in the pouring rain on a dank Friday night. What a treat inside, fire lit, Traditional yet comfortable welcoming bar (wood/slate), panelled dining room, overlooking the water and Plymouth on the opposite bank. Fabulous fresh food, the fish was amazing. Alan the chef ... awesome !! The rooms were comfortable, clean and have everything you need... breakfast huge and hearty... couldn't have asked for more. Stayed one night but liked it so much we came back for dinner Sunday night ...we weren't disappointed. .. Really wonderful friendly staff that make a good experience GREAT!! ... THANKS !!..... book you won't be disappointed !

Spontaneous visit to Edgcumbe Arms. My first visit and on Sunday roast day. The place was absolutely lovely, warm friendly atmosphere. It appears very popular with tables booked up quickly so we were lucky to find a seat. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again

No chicken or Turkey served the meat is Pork, Beef or Gammon. Roast spuds were under cooked and we do like mash as well which there was none this seems typical though. The service wasn't great either it was self serve as a carvery but they didn't come accross as happy to see you. Beautiful location though maybe next time we'll avoid on a busy Sunday:)

Popped in on a fairly quiet Easter Saturday. No attempt was made to clean the sticky, dirty table or to clear the previous guests glasses before we sat down or even during the 30mins we were there. The cushions in the bay window seat were really grubby to the extent that we didn't feel comfortable ordering food. And to top it all the drinks were expensive. What a pity that the beautiful setting and a captive clientele have obviously made the management complacent.

Have used this place a few times previously and it's been fine but today I had a large hair in my meal? Staff replaced the meal but the replacement was only half the size of the original?? I asked for a sandwich instead but after 5 minutes the replacement meal came back again brought by another staff member??? Faulty towers sprang to mind! Eventually the sandwich arrived and the difference in price was returned to me. Please get kitchen staff to wear headwear management.
