"Located at the top of the White Cliffs next to the Battle of Britain Memorial we are a traditional family and dog friendly pub in Capel le Ferne with a large car park and beer garden. We serve lunch 12-3pm and dinner 5-9pm Mon-Fri, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Motor homes are welcome to stay overnight."

Gammon egg and proper chips was basic but just what was needed. My son said the beef burger was the best he'd ever eaten. Highly recommended especially for the price and portion size
Lovely staff . Very accommodating with our motorhome with overnight stay . Free but they like you to eat in pub. Book a overnight stay 1st
Lovely polite staff. Food was amazing. We had no complaints at all. The steak dinner was so good! Not had a steak dinner like that in a long time. No bad points my only recommendation would be to offer more for children food wise and drink wise .
Went back again today, and the burgers are still delicious - although not as well served. Menu was also reduced - mains essentially burgers or hot dogs...
Great pub with a cozy real log fire, perfect for winter. Great food and a quiz night on Thursdays.
Stayed in The Valiant Sailor car park overnight in our campervan on route to France. The car park is very flat and level, staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional. Excellent value for money. Some of the best food we have had in a long time! Looking forward to our next visit to The Valiant Sailor.
When we read some of the previous reviews we were dubious about visiting. I have say we are very pleased we took a chance. Very friendly welcome and service from the staff and amazing steak meal. Cannot fault it. We will be back.
Just eaten tonight in this pub again and it was steak night. Absolutely lovely cooked steak with fantastic chips. Good beer and made very welcome. Thanks
This a a very friendly pub and we got a warm welcome from Pauline. This dog friendly pub is lovely, we had 2 burgers and they were really good. I would highly recommend this pub and it’s only 10/15 mins from the Eurotunnel
We parked our campervan up for the night and sampled the roast from the Sunday menu, which was very nice. Flat car park but next to a road.
