The Pullman is an absolute gem! Really clean and well decorated with friendly staff and a warm welcome, the beer garden is really pretty and private and a great spot to enjoy the amazing food on offer. The prices are reasonable with quite generous portions great when you are with two men over 6ft with healthy appetites! we ordered the ham and eggs, fish and chips and one of their burgers. It was so lovely that we visited 3 times over a 4 day trip and will definitely return when we visit again in two weeks! It may even be my favourite Folkestone pub but keep it secret, I don’t want it to get so busy that they don’t have a table for me!
We set out looking for a traditional pub experience, and we were not disapointed! Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful garden and indoors area. The food was fantastic, i was particularly impressed by the vegan menu i chose too starters instead of a main meal from it and was very satisfied. Would cone again!
There is a best place to eat pub food in Kent!!! Absolutely love the fish and chips, lamb, beef, pie, and huge onions rings. Today my family has a lunch here. The best wishes to the staff!!!
Not the best experience if I'm honest no drinks menu given & the waitress just told us / guessed what they had.. we ordered a sirloin and were given a rump! ribs although very tender were flavourless and fatty! atmosphere and service was great and the manager did deal with our complaint effectively. the lack of cocktails also knocked a star off but toilets were clean. won't be returning and a little pricey for what it was.
Tends to get very crouded on Fridays, but there's also a garden with outdoor seating out back. The beef Croquettes, Halloumi fries and chunky chips were very good, but the salt and pepper squid was bland and the Fried Veg was only fried cauliflower that was still quite hard. Overall I liked the pub despite the 50/50 food.
Lovely atmosphere and lovely food. Nice big portions. Met with friends here as they live around the area and I don’t, and it was a nice surprise. I don’t know Folkestone very well, but this little pub definitely made me want to come back and experience it all over again. It was a bit cold in there, but it is in the middle of December! They did have a fire going though which added to the nice atmosphere.
A welcoming pub that serves real ale. A lovely environment with soft lighting and an open fire. In the summer you can sit in the beautiful secluded garden, with sub tropical trees.
Cosy pub in Old part of town , good range of beers & cider . Food looked amazing although we did not eat on this occasion . Most tables are candle lit . Very nice
My 1st time eating here, had roast beef it was cooked to perfection, very quick service the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's clean and tidy I would eat here again
Came in on a training day with a new menu in place. Few issues to be expected but staff were fantastic! Very welcoming and attentive. The young lady that served us was superb. Starter were very good. Thanks for having us. X x
