I was given excellent care when I tumbled down some steps and suffered a broken nose, fractured wrist , dislocated finger and a tooth knocked out. Pam F, Naomi and others put me back together again and made sure that I had all the necessary x-rays, tests, CT scan, etc, dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's. All possible 'hidden' extra complications were explored to make sure I hadn't suffered a skull fracture or any other broken bones. Despite being very busy they were caring and highly efficient. No-one wants to go to A&E but they were very good.

Every member of staff I met/talked to today were fantastic! I needed urgent medical treatment, I was treated in a polite, friendly and caring manor. I wanted to post this because I am fed up with the negativity surrounding doctors, nurses and all of great people who work (extremely hard) within the NHS 😀👍❤️ Thank you all

I cannot fault the service or staff for the care I was given last year. Very impressed with the whole process and everybody I had to deal with.

Admitted to hospital due to severe abdominal pain, constipation, nausea and vomiting which had been going on for weeks. I don't see how it's acceptable to be admitted to hospital then told they can't do anything for you but try to control your symptoms before discharging you when they still don't have a diagnosis and tell you "you'll need to wait at least 6 weeks for an MRI which we've decided is best you have as an outpatient". Over the four days I was there I was seen by 4 different consultants. Asked the same questions each time and the only answers I got were "I don't know what you have" "we need to do an MRI." When told I could go home and try to manage the pain by myself they put me on meds that could be dangerous If I have a condition they think I may have. It's beyond me how one minute I'm not allowed to take opioids for my pain because of my symptoms then the next I am allowed because they want to send me home. It's also a joke that I was told I could leave at 14:30 and got my medication at 21:17. Still waiting for my discharge letter. Although most nurses were absolutely brilliant and kind some didn't know how to fill my hot water bottle (which was the only thing helping the pain) and sometimes I was left waiting for hours in pain because I hear they're understaffed. The best part: On one of the routine blood tests the phlebotomist went through my nerve in my arm which you can imagine hurt like hell. In addition to all this my discharge letter lied and said during admission I was on a certain type of pain medication that was helping to manage my pain. They never gave me a drop of it. The first time I got it was in my medication to take home with me. I'm afraid to say I've lost all trust in the NHS trust and hope I never have to come back here.
