I thought long and hard before writing this review.  The clinical care received by my consultant and anaesthetist was absolutely and unequivocally five star.  However, the administration at this facility has been absolutely awful at every stage.  My initial appointments were so badly mis-handled that a member of staff (who was not at fault) resigned.  Eventually, after further chapters of disorganisation, It culminated in a nurse telling me that my procedure was not going to be covered by BUPA while I was just about to go down to theatre.  So much unnecessary and damaging stress.  Eventually,  the surgeon had to come into my room and sort the issue out, calling BUPA himself.  I have another appointment there tomorrow and I suspect more surgery to follow.  I am likely to ask the surgeon if it is possible to move to another hospital in the area from this point on.  I don't feel very inclined to give any more chances as the hospital has not even bothered to respond to my feedback.

My experience of this hospital has been outstanding, right through from the very first consultant appointment until my hospital discharge following hip replacement surgery. Every single member of staff I encountered were amazing, helpful, caring and professional.  The hospital itself is brand new, very light and open, it has such a nice atmosphere. My consultant care has been fantastic, and as in patient for 3 nights I can not fault the nursing staff and doctors, physiotherapists, or the chef, the food is really fabulous!!. Nothing was any trouble for any of the staff, I felt cared for and was so well looked after, as were all of my family and visitors. I honestly cannot rate this hospital high enough.  Thank you to everyone at Spire Nottingham for my outstanding care.

I have visited this hospital three times as an outpatient,  each time the staff have been polite curtious and professional, my consultant Dr Maksoud is excellent. The hospital is clean and new, car parking is easy. The consulting rooms are modern and well fitted. I would recommend this hospital.

Initial experience great, gave 5 stars on Facebook the day after surgery.. Aftermath however was awful!
I had a tonsillectomy here in August, 4 days later I was sent to A&E with an infection from surgery and three months on I've been told I need further surgery to my vocal cords. I received trauma to them causing a polyp, meaning I haven't had a voice for 3 months as they shoved the tube down my throat so hard they damaged it.
