The food was very nice! 
I had Fish and Chips and for dessert I had the orange bread and butter pudding, now I believe there is a new menu. 

The staff were very friendly.

We booked a table for quite a large group,the staff were friendly but it took ages to get the food,a lot of the menu wasn't available,the coffee machine wasn't working and there was a problem with the beer.The food was good and we enjoyed our visit dispite the niggles.

A friendly welcome.  Great beer.  Didn't eat so can't say about the food. 

The garden overlooks the local cricket ground which could be good if you like cricket.
