Lovely afternoon spent on the site, great Peter Rabbit activities planned for the children for Easter with friendly staff. Well presented history of the site with intriguing items at the Petrifying Well. My only slight criticisms, hence why not 5 stars, are the cost (it was a little high considering it is a 2 to 3 hour visit at the most) and the toilets (they are very cold and just too few). These really were only minor points, and if my wish comes true from the wishing well, then it will be money and time well spent :)

Refurbished not long ago and they've done a really good job. It's really fresh with tons of character. The beer is kept very well and the food looks great.

Lovely pub with nice beers and very friendly Landlord. Family/kid friendly and dogs are just as welcome. Food is stunning by Sam.
