Great well equipped modern gym. Followed by Jacuzzi steam and sauna. Then a bite to eat looking out to the golf course.

Championship golf course (designed by Dave Thomas & Patrick Dawson) which used to be the home of the LPGA (so it's a proper championship course), with a super-modern gym (overlooking said golf course), a pool and a bar that serves very nice food (but it can be noisy over lunch as there's lots of mums with small kids around).

The golf course, alas, is what I can talk about as this is where I learned to play and played my only ever hole-in-one (much to the astonishment of my much, much better playing partner). It is tough: long (not for Dustin perhaps but for me), undulating, challenging water features, you get it all. A great course. The only caution is during the winter half as the place can get a bit boggy (it was built, you see, on what used to be a, well, bog).

Had my daughter's 5th birthday party here, there was barely enough food for the children, parents were asking where the rest of the food was!  it was really embarrassing. At £7.50 per child (not including room hire and entertainment !) it was a complete rip off. When I complained the next day it took them over 2 months to respond fully and they basically accused me of lying !!
