Was seated downstairs when I arrived, which was fine until I was the only person sitting in that area. Food took a long time to arrive. Eventually I moved upstairs to the main bar where I have since been ignored completely. Food very tasty, but relatively small portion. Still hungry. Guess as I haven't been offered a desert I'll call at a shop.

The Christmas menu is delicious! The Cornish turkey was tender and juicy. The pigs in the blankets accompanied with the turkey was a bonus. The waitress even attentively brought me additional cranberry sauce. The prawn cocktail was served in a surprisingly large portion which was fresh and delicious. The Christmas pudding was amazing. The smell really brought me into the Christmas mood. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really good food. My wife is coeliac and she loved the fish and chips. They cook it completely gluten-free, no contamination, and with the catch of the day (today it was cod). I also had the gluten-free fish and chips and I can't tell the difference with a regular one. Very tasty! They have plenty of good gluten-free options and they take intolerances very seriously. My mother-in-law had the best squid ink risotto ever (she's also coeliac). Good prices and even better service, with a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed the selection of local ciders and beers. We're very satisfied, we'd love to return, and we can definitely recommend this place!
