Please note that The Tudor House is now closed. Mahmud and Masi have sold the property. The new owners will be using it as a private house. I'm sure that we would all like to wish Mahmud and Masi all the very best for the future.

My wife and I stayed here in May 2013 for one night, and we don't think we've ever experienced such amazingly warm hospitality at a B&B. Mamad and Mazi (the owners) are incredibly dedicated and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we experienced superior service! The rooms are a little quirky and "average" compared to a modern building, but keep in mind this is a Tudor house (meaning it's even older than most countries), so the windows are thin, the heating is a bit finicky, the floors uneven... To me this just adds charm to the place, and you should start to think about how amazing it is that this building is still here! Our room had two single beds and a self-contained bathroom on the top floor but unfortunately overlooked the noisy Pizza Express next door. The location is excellent however as you're within minutes of the high street (shops), and surrounded by history at every turn. Breakfast the following morning however was the highlight, with a huge English breakfast on offer done exactly how you like it - absolutely fantastic, and I'd recommend booking a stay for this alone!
