The food was excellent, as was the service. We both had the Vension steak, which was cooked to perfection & highly recommend. We ate there twice during our four night stay, we had lamb burger & roasted duck on the second occasion. Again, both were delicious. Very dog friendly, which was a bonus as we did not have to leave them in our accommodation. Extremely busy, I would advise booking ahead. I would highly recommend & would definitely return when visiting the area again.
We had a lovely meal there, the staff were really nice but did not like having to go outside across the road to use the ladies, as they didn't have any inside
Brilliant place, only ever been for a pint before but booked a table and have a lovely meal with my wife. Food was amazing. Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough.
Great food, good portion sizes and overall good value for money.nnThe man serving drinks / taking orders was also brilliant. Had a friendly manner and helped to make it an overall fantastic restaurant.
We stumbled across this little gem in passing and stopped for something to eat. WOW, a Rib Eye Steak and Gammon to die for. The food here is excellent and the blue cheese sauce that accompanied my steak was out of this world! A great selection of Welsh ales too.nnThe pub was busy for a week night and I can see why. The staff were a cracking bunch of girls with great humour. If you are going to run a pub in an industry that's struggling, this is how you do it!nnHuge portions of very VERY good, homemade quality tucker
