Nice staff, but food was really poor. Two of us ate, neither meal was good. I had a pie, friend had a burger. Couldn't figure out why bits the lamb had an odd crunchy consistency, so didn't eat these bits. Afterwards realised they must not have been defrosted. Whatever it was, it wasn't good. Noticed it had a one star rating on the door for food on the way out as we just. Looks fine for drinking and staff were nice, but I wouldn't eat there again.

Great pint of Timothy Taylor and happy hour at £2.50!! Lovely warm fireplace tasty snacks and good juke box with a pool table. Could have stayed all afternoon after hiking in hills. Will keep it on pubs to revisit. Good pub

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and even though the prices are the typical Welsh/ British ones, the portions are double from what you originally know. This inn has a nice selection of wines as well as some local beers. The food is homemade style and it is served from 12pm to 9pm.

We visited for Sunday lunch (booking recommended) and it was excellent. Topside of beef, Roast Turkey, Lamb or vegetarian specials with plentiful Veg and Potatoes. Our Turkey and beef were cooked to perfection and there was such a generous helping all for 9.95. Service was really friendly and welcoming and it was great to enjoy lunch in a real local pub where everyone was friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit if you want great Sunday lunch

Lovely friendly staff. Food beautiful. Bedding lovely crisp & fresh. Curtains bit thin and let's light through. But other than that fabulous friendly place.
