Ty Morgans apartment one. Good value. Simple decor, WiFi & a central location - a one minute walk to the very nice Ty Morgans cafe. On street parking. Very warm - we had to turn the heating down. A small kitchen, but limited pots & pans - no coffee cafetiere, for example. The sofa bed is a 'cot bed' & not that comfy. Towels provided, although we had to ask for bedding for the 'cot bed', as well as a dish cloth! It is a nice town and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. I would stay in the apartment again.
Called into the cafe on Sunday 9th October during a coach stop on our way home. Despite being busy prepping for a busy Sunday lunch trade we were welcomed and a table found for myself and 2 friends to have a coffee and teacake. We were disappointed we couldn't stay for lunch as the food looked delicious! Highly recommended and hope to visit again sometime.
Popped in for some breakfast, ordered 2 full breakfasts with fried bread. Breakfast was delivered quickly and the breakfast was lovely and fresh, great breakfast with high quality ingredientsService: 5/5
This review is for the cafe. Stopped off here a few times, for a break when out cycling, and has been very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is good and cafe is furbished well. It is an old building with exposed beams, which gives off a warm and welcoming feeling.
Stopped for lunch it was great service & food! Open fire & friendly staff. Card & Cash accepted Nearby activities: Walks, Drives, Reservoirs Walkability: Right in the middle of Rhayader so easy to get to, car park close by too. Food & drinks: Food was spot on

Nice rooms right in the centre of town. The shower was very powerful and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice. You have to collect your keys from a pub across the road, but it's no hassle. Parking is available in a street behind the hotel a 2 minute walk away. The only downside is that the walls are very thin between the rooms! and there is a lot of traffic/lorry noise from the street in front of the hotel. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is probably not the hotel for you. But it is very handy for local shops Co-Op just next door, amazing Indian restaurant down North Street, Pubs and a fish and chip shop. Overall, very nice.
Thw ladies got us in for a last minute Breakfast this Sunday morning as we had a power cut at home It was served with a smile & delicious food couldn't do enough highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
One of the best bacon sandwiches I’ve ever had. Superb. Matched with an excellent coffee. Recommended
We stopped at the cafe for lunch we did not avail ourselves of the accommodation on this trip, but were impressed with the food we bought. My friend had a burger and I had a breakfast sandwich - they were both delicious, washed down by a couple of lattes! The young lady who brought our food was really helpful, friendly and polite and a credit to the cafe - even though she had only worked there for a week. I will definitely stop here again.
