We stayed for one night only, really good deal and the room was lovely.. morning breakfast for £10 was amazing. The owners make you really welcome. Perfect location.

We’ve came on a bank holiday, the rooms were spot clean, comfortable beds and silent to sleep. The breakfast was amazing Conveniently located. Gwin and Sean were such an welcoming hosts!
Just home after 2 nights at The Bear. Sian was a great host, very welcoming. The building is old and they have managed to keep a lot of the original fixtures whilst also bringing it up to date which is lovely. Its a few minutes walk from pubs etc for evening meals/entertainment and the perfect spot for exploring The Elan Valley. Our room was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed. We had a full Welsh breakfast both days it was fab, good quality ingredients...All freshly cooked for us so was lovely and hot. If in the area again we would definitely book The Bear again.
