Staying nearby so popped in for lunch, one of the best meals we have ever had, the place was lovely & cosy with an open fire, the ambiance, friendly staff & amazing food make this place a must see. Dog friendly too!nWe would definitely return if visiting again. Highly recommended
A lunchtime visit. Myself and my partner both ordered a Ploughman's lunch. We both said it was the best Ploughman's lunch we've ever had. For me, it was maybe the best ever pub lunch I've had. A real smorgasbord of foods and great value. And the pub's the real thang too.
We come in without a booking on Sunday lunch time and they very kindly accommodated me and my girlfriend. We sit down in a well decorated and clean room, we were served by a young man who was very polite and got our drinks straight away and took our orders upon his return. Now, the food was just next level, the pork belly roast was just absolutely delicious and the plate was piled with equally delicious trimmings, compliments to the chefs completely! All I’ll say is you’ll need a big appetite to finish the plate! Great value for money, couldn’t recommend this place more! 10/10
We decided to stop here for a spot of lunch with our baby and dog, very welcoming. All of our food come out on beautiful boards. We would have paid a lot more money somewhere else for the quality of food we received. Nice atmosphere also.
Had a delicious meal the other week. Staff were very friendly and the food was piping hot. I strongly recommend the soup starter!
