If i could put no stars I would. Staff were incredibly rude after serving me raw fish. The chef was filthy and so was the kitchen. I only know this because I had to her the waitresses attention that was sat in the kitchen. The chef screamed at me in the restaurant so I don't bother exchanging my fish. 
When I spoke to the manager she did nothing. 
Then a metal pole from the toilet landed on my daughter's foot, the chef came out and tried blaming them when we looked it was glued on so clearly unsafe.
Then as we were.leaving the chef and his friend came out trying to intimidate myself and my friend and started taking pics of our car I'm not sure why.

Do not go here. We have reported the establishment to environmental health and Greene King.

Expected a glorious village pub.... poor selection on the tap because “we don’t make money on it”. Food arrived not as described on menu because “we are changing menus”. The management just don’t have the attention to detail you’d expect for the location and price. Manager didn’t bother to come over to resolve issues. Poor.

Incredible food, wonderful mothers day menu, stunning pub, super friendly staff, super talented head chef 😍😍😍 best roast lunch I have ever eaten, if only I could eat here everyday!

Nice village pub. Great food & drinks on offer. Highlight is the garden. Avoid the front bar unless you are a 70+ local man
