Very good service for a large party, didn’t keep us waiting and the food was excellent. Jo the new landlady is a wonderful host and makes you feel incredibly welcome. Will be back again soon and already looking forward to it. Well done all.

Friendly, helpful, just plain nice staff. Good choice of beer, wine and lager. Comfortable environment. I haven't eaten there yet so I can't give it 5 stars, but it defiantly gets 2 thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

Great food and service and reasonably priced for what you get. The menu is varied with lots of good choices.

Went for lunch today. Waitress very pleasant. Ordered sea bass and scallops with a creamy pea and prawn risotto with chives and also hunters chicken. Took quite a while for order to be served. Sea bass arrived without chives fish was nice but rice was dry not creamy and no prawns. Halfway through eating chicken dish found a piece of hard plastic in chicken. Complained to waitress who told her manager. The lady tried to tell us that the plastic was a bit of rock salt from the sea bass. This was rubbish as it was plastic and was in the chicken. There was no real apology just said she'd look into it. Was disgusted with her attitude we were not asking for anything but just letting them know that we were not happy. Everybody makes mistakes but it is the way it was dealt with. Would not go there again

Nice pleasant pub. Food was excellent and good range of beverages, and they even make a decent flat white. A little tired in some places but decent atmosphere and great customer service from the team.
