I have stayed at the Thorlee on numerous occasions and my stay has been completely home from home
The rooms are very modern with everything you can require.
The staff are not about all the time but are available by mobile if required.
The breakfast is really nice and served really quick.
Overall excellent value for money would not hesitate to recommend the Thorlee
to anyone.

This type of Guest House gives the tourism industry in Scotland a bad name.   I had a confirmed 2 night stay booked with one of the largest business travel bookers in the UK.  Turn up and the owner has sold my confirmed room.  You cannot contact them as there is only an answer phone which you have to leave a message when there is a problem, and hope that the owner phones you back.
There were no rooms available that night in Stornoway, so it looks like the owner has sold the room at a higher price.
There is no customer service at this establishment..... Stay clear !!!!

My advice is book at the Braighe House Guest House, they understand customer service.

We stayed this August for five nights at this friendly and well kept guest house, the full breakfast is very good, and the price we paid for the five nights was reasonable and well deserved. The room was facing the port and the parking is very good and free of charger and located in the front of the building. The owner is a nice and friendly man

Très bon souvenir des lieux : bon accueil et service correct, des chambres propres et assez grandes, un petit déjeuner de qualité... le tout pour un prix vraiment correct.
