This is a great jumping-off-point for any time in Stornoway; just steps from the ferry, it is easy to get here and to get back to the ferry after your adventure is done.  Anne, the front desk clerk, was a doll and was able to put us in a room with a larger bed the second night we were there -- room 16 with a double bed just wasn't conducive to a good night's sleep.  Room 40 with a king + two twins pushed together was a dream.nnThe rooms have adequate heating, and great water and water pressure.  The restaurant, eleven, has a good breakfast buffet and I enjoyed eating there in the evenings, too.

Room not clean, double bed was very, very small. The friendly lady from the reception gave us another room. The bed here was very good, but the bathroom was mold paradise and every 15 minutes some kind of outside airco made a lot of noise all night long. #hardlyanysleep

Room was a bit small, with stains on the wall and crumbling plaster.  The communal area smelled very stale and could do with a deep clean. Bathroom appeared relatively modern, excellent pressure in the shower

We had Birthday & Anniversary PartynAmbience in Gary’s Suite was great..Food was so good..Delicious.Thanks to chef Raj..Linda ..Manager Christina..Lewis are so helpful

Food was excellent, cannot praise its quality highly enough. Service lax at times but good overall. My meal was beautiful and I highly recommend the carvery
