We were a group of 12 ladies who had a very enjoyable lunch a couple of weeks ago. The front of house staff were very attentive, friendly and went out of their way to serve us and to make sure our drinks were topped up. A variety of meals were ordered included fish, pie specials and steak, all cooked to perfection and delicious.nWe will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone.
It's definitely worth a visit - a great place with bar staff ready to help and a strong selection of drinks. We popped over for a quick pint and ended up last out the door. This feels like a pub should, friendly, great atmosphere, good chat, price wise good and dog friendly. All of that said it still fits well with regards to being modern and not tired. It's definitely worth a visit, I'll be going back for food soon, other tables ordered, and from what I saw came out the kitchen looked really well presented. Thank you
Went here for Mother's Day lunch, and had a good meal. We were asked to preorder the food, which was easy to organise. The vegetarian roasts were covered in gravy, which is such a shame. We would have preferred to choose this ourselves a gravy boat would have been more suitable I think. The food was, however, very tasty.nThe pub was very quiet, there were only ever a couple of tables in at a time.
The pub was lovely and the staff were friendly. But the food was not to the standard expected and when we asked them about there was always an excuse we will not be going back.
I went to The Thatched House and had the best night! Food was great, service was excellent and staff were all absolutely lovely… highly recommend!!
