After a fabulous time in Plymouth my train home was scheduled for Mid day and I was looking for someplace to have breakfast and I wanted to pick somewhere overlooking the sea. So I picked the Terrace. My choice for breakfast was the Terrace English breakfast. It was very tasty the egg and small pieces bacon was cooked nicely. The Sausage was juicy and it was great to be given a decent sized portion of baked beans. The view overlooking the sea is incredible and as it was a sunny day it couldn't of gotton any better. The staff are well mannered , friendly to talk to and the wait time wasn't that long either. Overall I had a really good experience and I am so glad I picked this fabulous location known as the Terrace.
Today we went to the Terrace for breakfast and have a meeting. It was my first time at the Terrace, I've walked past it for years living in Plymouth but never stopped. Breakfast was fantastic and the views over the sound are beautiful.
Probably one of the best views in Western Europe....the iconic Plymouth Sound. Sadly this place is a disappointment and doesn't live up to the location. Should be upmarket and lavish. Instead it's got no ambiance or charisma. £13.50 for 2 x luke warm latte's and 2 x toasted teacakes with cheap plastic strawberry containers . Waitress was young with no professional experience. I have lived in Plymouth all my life. Been here twice....never again ...that's sad
Lovely view to have with a pint. Also the food was great! Good portion sizes and decent amount of choice. Well worth sitting on the deck on a sunny day

We come here most sunday mornings for a peaceful coffee, The staff are always friendly & the coffee is great with a lovely view too! They had some issues with the card machine today and the lady in charge very kindly let us have our drinks for less as we didn't have enough cash which was really nice of her. We look forward to coming again next week
A perfect sunny evening at the Terrace. Lovely staff, great wine and pizza was excellent it may be a bit expensive but such an amazing view outside it is definitely worth it. Live music was a bonus.
We ordered an English breakfast + black pudding and a vegan English breakfast. Got two hot drinks - one of the cups had a red lipstick smear on it. When we did finally get the food took a bit more than you would expect - the disk was cold. Also, for a surplus of £1.50 you only get a slice of black pudding. So until now we had discovered that: 1. The place had dirty plates/mugs 2. Overpriced- even compared to London 3. Food was cold and soggy So up until now, bad experience but not horrible - NOPE - an hour or so after both myself and my girlfriend felt ill - for the grand finale………..food poisoning!!!
First time I visited here happened to be during the Sail GP event. The service was very good and the pizza I had from here was incredible. Good choice of drinks and food. Lots of little birds that are keen to beg for some of your food but that adds to the coastal feeling of this place. Will be visiting again!
Amazing food, drinks, vibe and location. Would strongly recommend. Friendly staff, had a lovely evening.
