Skip this chain and go to local restaurants and bars instead. I only ended up there because everywhere else was completely full with queues outside. The service was great, plenty of space and lots of tables, but the food was a joke—fine for a beer or a drink though.
Walking in, this place was pretty nice compared to other wetherspoons - pleasantly surprised. Till we sat down and ordered food. The runner staff was very rude and fat shaming over the food we ordered and was quite embarrassing. No manager on hand to report this to at the time Friday evening.
The beer was great, but the food could benefit from more seasoning.
We enjoyed coffee and eggs and toast. The location is at a busy old town block and main road next to the river.nVery clean street where the delivery trucks are clean also.
A very nice and cozy Whetherspoon in the heart of Fort William. Great selection of food and drink. The staff are nice and friendly too. Overall loved the place - there is also nice book swap library which is a nice add. The restroom facilities are also great.
