First time visit for afternoon tea. Food was varied and high quality. We loved the pink and blue crockery and our table was all laid out for us when we arrived. Becca, our waitress, was v professional - in fact, we received a warm welcome from all the staff we met. 5 stars for presentation and value.
We booked a room using the winter escape offer, which included 2 course dinner with a bottle of wine and breakfast. £139 for 2 which is excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable and all staff we engaged with were polite and courteous. Dinner was so good, highly recommend the shepherds pie it was delicious. Special shout out for Jason who looked after us in the restaurant, he was so helpful and polite. We’d definitely stay again when in the area.
Stayed at The Swan Hotel in Stafford for a night. The room was clean and comfortable, though nothing particularly special. Service was a bit on the slow side throughout my stay, but not unfriendly. The real standout was breakfast—absolutely delicious and well worth it. Overall, a decent stay in a great location.
Took my wife and daughter.. and dog too for an evening meal. The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing, the best I've had for a long while. Not cheap but absolutely value for money. I love that the place is dog friendly and Jason, the deputy manager took a real shine to our little Shih Tzu. Thank you Jason for such great service and helping us to enjoy our evening at The Swan.
I had my baby shower at The Swan a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Catherine was incredibly helpful in helping me plan it and really quick to respond to emails. On the day the room in the restaurant was set up beautifully and our waitress Amberle looked after us so well. She went above and beyond to put me at ease before guests arrived, and fetched our many drinks and anything else we needed. The other staff were great too. Thank you to the Swan for such a lovely day.
