We were so impressed with the service and food here last weekend. The staff were so attentive and professional yet friendly and genuine. The food was delicious and very good value, excellent attention to detail, my straw came on a tray, we were asked if we enjoyed everything, adaptations for gluten free, even the non alcoholic drink was amazing. Minute steak and chips was perfect. I would highly recommend.

The Sun is a lively and comfortable public house with good food and bar snacks. I visit regularly and enjoy the atmosphere and good selection of beers and wines. Two reasons why this review was not five star... One or two more vegetarian options on the menu would be grand. And, although smoking is increasingly frowned upon these days, I smoke and as it's winter, it'd be great if the sun could provide some heating in their smoking section. If these things could be attended to, I would come here more often for sure! Either way, it's still a lovely place!

Good atmosphere, a nice place to come with friends and have long and relaxed chats. But ... the food could be better. Pity they select wines whose bottles have no cork stopper.

We had a late lunch here before going to Christmas at Kew and it was perfect. As it was late the restaurant was quiet but the service was amazing. We have allergies and gluten free requirements - there was a Gluten free menu and the chef marked up a menu for the other allergies which was fantastic. The food was gorgeous, Lovely Location and we all said we would go back :-)
