Great place, good food, great staff. The curry is very tasty. Only downer is if you want the restaurant it's upstairs which is a problem if you are handicapped. You can use the bar, but I think it's only bar menu. I think they might see you alright if you explain the issue, they seem understanding. It

Usually good. Suits a lower budget too. They have £5 meals on the daytime menu and desserts for £2.79. Outside seating and a slide for the kids. Option of refillable Pepsi is good value. Loyalty card gives points that you can exchange for a voucher that is either £5, two starters or two desserts. You can use more than one of these.

Prior bad experiences forgotten, the trip to the restaurant this lunch time was a million miles from the last one. The food arrived together and was very tasty. The staff were friendly and polite and the garden was well tended and clean. A much better experience than the time before. We'll done Bridge Barn.

The Bridge Barn is set in a lovely setting next to the Basingstoke Canal. In the summer its nice to sit and eat outside on one of the many tables provided. There is also a small play area for kids.. which keeps them occupied. Inside there are lovely beams and old fireplaces which at the character. The food is sometimes great.. sometimes poor. But at least they seem to of sorted there staff problems. Look out for Beefeater deals.. this can make your meal very affordable.

Been to the bridge barn several times. Service and food always fluctuates. Last few times we have had to wait a long time for someone to take our order, although it was never actually very busy. And our food has always been burnt or undercooked ie cold fish, cold pasta, burnt chips, 1 double cheese burger had 2 patties, one cooked rare, one cooked well done! Our last experience was poor, the food took over an hour to come out. When we had finished we had to chase someone down to get our bill as we waited 30 minutes and no one had come since taking the plates away and asking for our bill. The manager was stood at the desk at the top of the stairs on her phone, and proceeded to complain that she was understaffed. The pub was not busy! There was 6 small tables in. The time before this we were turned away as we had not prebooked, although the pub was empty. They told us they were running out of food! We now prefer to eat at the cricketers, who's service is much improved.
