My first visit to The Wheatsheaf today despite living in the area for 20 years. The first thing you notice is the size of the place. Its huge! The decor is nice and quite homely. We sat by a nice open fire which was warm and not too overpowering. We ordered food which was very reasonable. The drinks prices were average for the area..just over £4 a pint. There were offers for real ale nights.. when the price was down as low as £2.50 a pint. The food was lovely.. only complaint was it served on a mock wooden slate instead of a plate... which i asked to be changed. The toilets were nice and clean. All in all a nice pub. Small car park.. pay £2 on the meter.. you get it back once you order inside

Super friendly pub, great value for money, relaxing place to go for a family meal or drink with friends. Recommend a visit.

Friendly pub that does decent good and runs DND sessions on Wednesdays via meetup

We enjoyed good pub food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our group included 2 small children who were well catered for.
