Fantastic eatery and pub with an excellent atmosphere right next to Sea. Staff very friendly and counties. Dog friendly and has great outside area, food all fresh. Highly recommended
The best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Many kinds of beer on tap. There was no lack of good scoth whisky. Meals and drinks are not so expensive.
Very tasty dinner tonight as always at this wee gem of a place . The fish goujons are superb! The Inn is full of character, very clean and the staff are brilliant. It's service with a smile every time. Tonight they had 2 different first aid emergencies to deal with and they did it with calmness and compassion. Then you get the sunset for afters!
Return visit here on our way to our hotel, always receive a warm welcome from staff. Ordered a beer and some food, a starter to share, it was our teams favourite platter. Beef burger sliders, chicken wings, beer-battered cod goujons, rosemary-salted fries, East Coast IPA BBQ sauce and tartare sauce food was very tasty and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, see you next time : :
We had a excellent lunch at that place. The food was really good I had the Higgis and the staff so friendly. I really recommend it
For me, this is the best pub in Edinburgh and Newhaven. Excellent spirit, delicious ale, whiskey and gin... Special thanks for the food: I was in Scotland only 9 days, and every evening I went only here. I sincerely hope to return again!
Nice British pub with lots of TVs screens to watch fotball. We had 2 beer beer and Haggis Fritters. It was really nice. The hostess was very kind and serivceminded. The atmosphere was good and people were friendly and polite.
We were staying overnight in Edinburgh and were looking for somewhere to eat and came across the Starbank Inn. We were greeted by the lovely Michelle who was very welcoming and friendly. We explained our daughter had a dairy intolerance to which she brought out a tablet so we could check what she could eat. The food was lovely and atmosphere was great. Michelle interacted with our daughter throughout which just added to our experience and we all left happy. Thank you very much.
Lovely food great service .all round enjoyable experience.
A great place to eat, staff are fantastic, and the locals happy for a chat. Love the fact they are dog friendly here as well. Great place for an Aussie to relax and enjoy a good feed. Highly recommend.
