Excellent views. The mussels were awesome, mussels are altered depending on the day but they are fresh. We had the seafood basket as well. If you like fried prawns, calamari and scampi then this dish is for you. The tuna steak had little but of a fish smell but the other dishes were good. Very vegan friendly.
We booked a table for lunch. The staff were so welcoming. The atmosphere was great and what a lovely view. We had a tasty fish and chips, and the cherry cheesecake was fantastic. We definitely come back.
Location is stunning, staff are helpful and friendly just the food lets it down slightly. I ordered the Baked Camembert which was barely baked with most of it still solid cheese and not this lovely gooey round of cheese. Sourdough was nice. Soup did look good.
Firstly I would like to thank the waitress, whose name I don't know, for her warmth and kindness which made both the meal and the restaurant more welcoming. Secondly, the mussels were the freshest and best I've had in months and worth trying for everyone. Lastly, even on a cloudy day, the view of the beach was still a keeper.
Very nice view from the restaurant. And every corner of the restaurant give you the good vibes. The food was awesome. But need to make a reservation earlier for a good spot . Highly recommended!
It was a really great place for a relaxing moment. Very good food, music and amazing staff member some of them speak French . Gluten-free food available. The view is fantastic Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free food available.
Nice environment and dog friendly. Booked the window table in advance. Cullen skink is super recommended. And thanks the lady who provided my dog water bowl and treats. Look at the wee happy face!
Ye okay, so I didn't take a picture of the fish and chips. Just go try it though. It's well worth your while. When you ask for a seaside restaurant and someone gives you the Old Chain Pier, you're not disappointed. The beer on tap and non-alcoholic selection is good. The menu variety is simple, yet on-point. I read about a hot fudge dessert that sounded fantastic. Bring family here or take her for date night.
Probably the best restaurant I've ever been in Edinburgh! The view is amazing and the food super tasty. Also the staff was friendly. Thank you!
Friendly and valuable. Suitable for vegetarians: P.S. the sea view seats should book in advance. Not crowded and chilled vibe here.
