Nice pub and friendly staff. I was last in there when it was the Powderhall Arms a mere 40 odd years ago. I will be back soon
Beautiful cosy bar. Great cocktails too and loads of great local beers on draught. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, we had a great night. We were told they do a quiz every Monday so we will definitely be back to try it out

Good beer, great selection of local craft beer, nice vibe. Good back street bar. Meant to leave a 4* but hit 3* by accident.

Love the new look of the bar! Would have liked a more friendly welcome. Toilets not too great, no money spent there. Brew dog beers a plenty but prices quite high. As a local a big improvement on before and if they get the £400k local flat owners in could be good.
Legendary barman. Had us do shots on the house! Would definitely recommend!
Great spot, always a laid back atmosphere with plenty of local beers on tap, definitely worth calling in for a drink or two.
Was charged £9.35 for a pint and a half of Punk IPA. A bit excessive for the location which was a pity because the atmosphere in the pub reminded me of the old days of the Cowgate. Probably won't be back, I can't afford pubs these days.
Nice lo-fi cozy cool vibe. Good choice of local beers
