A proper pub, only with TV showing some football competition.... "Celebrity no beer run around in the desert"... I think it was. The posts I saw all said how friendly the staff and locals are. It's true and I will be back. Thank you all.
Absolutely awful experience! Selling cheap drinks in branded bottles and when asked if he would change it said that it would cost him money - avoid at all costs - Trading Standards need to get in here sharpish!! countreau should go cloudy when you add this was pure lemonade a total con and very ignorant bar man
I have only one question... Why I'm not living in Scotland?!! I need to leave Nottingham definitely! People here are so nice, good beers, Wisky, beautiful landscapes and much more! Beer is so good! Love this place! And old pubs like this one!

Bartender very friendly and helpful. Sat outside until it started to rain. Ordered Cheese Toasty with onions wonderful. Met some friendly locals - great local pub.
A great wee local with a cute courtyard to sit in with plastic cups or sit outside at their tables with glass. Live folk music gatherings at weekends/Thursday nights and sometimes karaoke if a special occassion Staff are always very friendly too
Great old Pub, full of character & characters.! Belhaven bitter always very good and they serve an excellent pint of Guinness
