First time going to this pub, we went for a Sunday carvery. The food was nice and it was good quality veg and local meats. The landlord and lady couldn't have been any nicer and made a lovely fuss over my 1 year old and were very happy to give him a little extra attention - which always goes down well! Deserts cover a good range of options and round off the meal very nicely. The pub dog was super well-behaved and friendly. Lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

Very nice cosy friendly village pub - recently refurbished. Stopped by for an afternoon drink and a catch up. Menus now uploaded.

We came here for breakfast on Sunday due to we checked it will open at 0830.  Even they have a board by the entrance said open at 0830 - but it is not true.  We drove from Portsmouth to here and found out the info was wrong.    Hungry! Hungry! Hungry!

First time in this pub and it was very friendly the food was great and a good verity from the menu, will be back soon.

We arrived last minute today for a roast. The staff were fantastic, friendly and sorted us out a table right away. We weren’t kept waiting long at all. There was a carvery and we had a delicious serving of roast pork & turkey, the roast vegetables were fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend the Stags Head, best roast I have had in a very long time. Definitely will be back! Thank you

Very nice carvery, big portion, good prices, friendly staff. Regular menu looked good too. Happy to return.

Great offers Tuesday cheap menu food delicious especially the home made pies. If its a birthday let them know and they will put up a banner n balloon  fab service really enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you for making us so welcome and making Beryl's 93rd birthday so special and for letting us bring a cake

Lovely country pub atmosphere, live sports and music

Very nice pub, I had never been in before but my partner  had. The landlord gave us warm welcome, nice atmosphere with a lovely open fire, we will visit again
