Steak and ale pie and chicken parmesan delicious. Chips are awful, the worst I've had - literally a potato quartered and fried for ages. Dry as cardboard and tasted of fat/oil. We both left them all after trying half a chip each. Even tried coating in pie gravy, still tasted of fat. Staff helpful and efficient, though not particularly cheerful. Sat in the bar area, comfortable enough.

Ok but pretentious. Food was very average. Cleaning and closing was done whilst we were eating. Asked if we wanted coffee just after our mains as they wanted to clean and turn off the machine. Parmo was not brilliant, very poor

Loverly ambiance. Friendly staff. Great food and delicious cheesecakes. Well worth a visit. Happy hour pizza and pasta between 5 and 7.

My mother and her friend go here almost every week for lunch, and I've tagged along a few times. The staff are lovely, the prices are reasonable (considering the standard of the food, the location and the wonderful service), and in general it's a great restaurant for families and for a first class meal! Great atmosphere.
