We recently stayed at Morton House and the Stable Block for a week and had a great holiday. We were a group of 12 adults and 4 children aged 2 and under and the accommodation was very comfortable for all of us. Everything we needed was there and the owners were very helpful and responsive answering questions and also helping us to arrange and book activities. There are a number of local deals available through the property. All went well but we had to be careful with the toddlers with the stairs, steps and some of the flooring. Overall - very highly recommended.
We were met on arrival by the owner, who couldn't of been more helpful and pleasant. Accommodation is lovely. Masham is well worth a visit. We will be back again
We had a family get together and the house suited us beautifully. Probably the comfiest and biggest bed I have ever slept in and the kitchen was really well equipped. We will definitely be booking to stay again! Thank you.
This is the second year myself and our large Family of 10, 4 generations have stayed at Morton House. I cannot fault anything about our stay. Set in the lovely village of Masham that had a market twice a week a number of pubs all serving good food and a Co-Op it really has everyhting you could need on your doorstep without taking away from the nantural beauty of Yorkshire. Michelle and Columb who own Morton House are wonderful people as well who have gone above and beyond both years to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We will definitely all be back!
This was the second time stay here for us, it's fully equipped with what you need, the beds are quite comfortable and everywhere is clean. The property located in Masham, close to the market square
Wonderful house in a truly beautiful area, lovely walks, lots to do and places to visit. Local pubs, restaurants & breweries are excellent, our host’s Columb & Michelle couldn’t have been more helpful. Thanks for a great holiday!Rooms: 5/5

This house was a perfect way to enjoy our milestone birthdays in style. Being in Masham with all its pubs and 2 breweries we all had a fantastic time. The accommodation in the house was really good and as there were about 14 of us there was plenty of room and weren't on top of each other. The kitchen is really big and a great social space at the heart of the home and for parking there is plenty of free space outside the property on the road. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away for a bit with a few friends. There are also lots of walks around the area should anyone have this interest too
This is our 29th week staying in the stable block over last 10 years. Speaks for itself. Our home from home. Comfy and welcoming. In an excellent location with easy access to the whole of the dales.
First class, we had a great time, 14 people and all said great things about the accommodation,
