Lovely little market town. Stopped off here on our way to Apperset near Hawes to have some lunch. Sat on the river bank near to the Masham sports centre. Plenty of space to park and relax with a gentle walk along the river. Very peaceful.

Access now restricted to max height of 2.1 meters except for permitted vehicles by prior arrangement. Home of Masham Cricket, Bowls, Tennis and Basket Ball as well as riverside walks and daytime parking (honesty box). Most parking is on grass by the River Ure on an area known as the Shooting Holme. No public facilities except in the clubhouses, when open, but only a few minutes from Masham centre.
