Spot on Holts pub. Excellent beers. Staff lovely. Really nice layout inside. Drinking area outside.
After coco virus months indoors lockdown it was the most enjoyable pint of strong bow ever. As for the Spread always clean toilets and seating areas ,food good served quickly and hot, staff nice and friendly atmosphere nice outside seating area,no idiots. Go and see . Be lucky
Lovely food great price and a nice setting. Portion sizes are very big for the money that you spend. Will be back soon
Friendly staff and good service reasonably priced and friendly atmosphere
Decent beer & choice. Prices reasonable. Good spot to watch sport & have Sunday roast.
We went to try the carvery Sunday lunch. It was reasonably priced and the food was good. It was quite busy however this may have been related to a match been on. Bar service was okay but some young staff who were not that experienced but this did not cause a problem. We will return as a nice family friendly environment
The food is nice there and the black lady with the glasses behind the bar is smashing. If I had any gripes at all I would say that they could be more generous with the stuffing balls. They are tiny and you only get one. Apart from that, can't fault it for £7.50
Pretty nice pub. Seemed friendly:
We had pleasant meals. A decent red wine and pint of Holt's Bitter. I also bumped into a very old friend not seen since 1975.
Upside: Smart welcoming decor, with nice cosy booths. Downside: TV screens showing sports everywhere you turn. Atmosphere midweek around 9pm was dead: only a handful of people in. Shame because the surroundings apart from TVs were lovely.
