Pleasant stay , room was comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Location was great , easy to access from city centre by tram. Lots of shops and food places within 0-10 minutes walk. Would stay here again.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely staff though service can be a bit slow. Good range of drinks, though need better wine selection - where's the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc? . Nice atmosphere and comfy seating. Good chilled out place to go. Need to improve disabled access - fit a small lift or something? And need more clearly labelled vegan options on the food menu. So, overall, nice place to go for a quiet pint in the daytime, or to watch sport, but don't bother if you can't manage a flight of approx 10 steps to get in!
Very affordable stay close to the Cricket Ground where we went to see Foo Fighters. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything you need for a quick overnight stay. Would happily stay again! Walkability: 25 min walk from the Cricket Ground, great for an overnight stay. Food & drinks: Plenty of cafes close by for a nice breakfast. We didn't get to try the food in the pub as we had to rush to the venue, but we would try it next time we stay.
Decent boozer, with great prices. Pool table and a big outdoor space. Loads of TVs , inside and out for all the sport!Service: 4/5
My daughters boyfriend had his 21st here in the function room. Brilliant night, excellent room very spacious and fantastic staff. Definitely recommend this venue to others. Thank you Claire, Dean and chloe your hospitality

We went here to watch an England game during the euros, they hadn't put any more people on the bar so waited nearly 40 mins before giving up and leavingService: 2/5

Basic overnight stay, price was expensive for what we had. The man behind the bar who checked is in was very friendly and extremely helpful. Was late when we checked in and only had the Indian takeaway next door for something to eat. Was recommended by the staff who said they would give us cutlery and plates to have a take away which was very nice of them
