Cracking pub. Excellent ales. Doing a spot on job with Covid. Friendly staff. Bowling green at back,surprise! Drinking area outside front and back. I believe the food is good but not tried it. They also have ensuite rooms.
Lived nearby so come here quite regularly. Great selection of drinks and staff are friendly. There's plenty of outside space which has been great throughout the pandemic as we don't often struggle to get a table. Food looks good but I've never eaten here as the food hygiene rating is low.
Just had food here now it was amazing I had north burger it was fantastic. My partner had Sunday roast she said that was amazing. We be back
Great quality food. We had a full Irish with soda bread with tea and coffee could not fault it. Great service and very friendly staff highly recommended
Never drunk here but stayed in the hotel rooms which are first class brand new and very comfy . More like a 4 star hotel than a pub .
The standard of the food and decor has improved massively and it's now our regular spot for eating out. They have Landlord too!
Heated outdoor area in front of pub very pleasant, had nice fat chips coffee so so staff all v. Covid aware
Amazing staff. Great selection of beers. Wonderful bowling green with kids section. I would recommend a visit here
