Weatherspoons is everyone's favourite isn't it? But this location is eye catchy. The building itself is so beautiful with a seating area outside. We tried a couple of cocktails this time and some wings with chips. The wings were delicious and came with a choice of dip. The staff were very friendly. JD is a vibe I would say.Food: 5/5
If you wish to sip in beer along with food at eco price. A visit is must, chicken wings are my all time favourite and the best part you can have Indian dishes too. The staff is very friendly and you would find people of every age group around. I love this place and visit quite often it once I am done with all my stuff.
Tomato was small on the vegan breakfast. Mushrooms on the small size but OK. Only a 19 minute wait for food despite busy breakfadt rush hour is very good. Ordered 11:54am.Food: 4/5
This is my new favourite wetherspoons. The building was created by the Temperance Movement as an alcohol free billiards hall in c1907. It's a beautiful building and lovely space to have a bite or drink and very cheap too! When I visited I had the all day breakfast deal. Two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, beans and chips. The deal included an alcoholic drink for £5.99! It was well worth the money
Great pub in a previous snooker club with lovely domed ceiling. Had Thai chicken buns with chips and two beers. Absolute bargain just love Witherspoon'sFood: 5/5
Paulicarus says he remembers me playing snooker here many years ago when this was a snooker hall but he is not old enough. A unique building for a Spoons. Great selection of real ale. Took a bitter from Great Newsome brewery. Very good...cheap..and 50p off voucher£1.76 for the pint. It is what it is...typical crowd enjoying a lively Sunday afternoon.
Pretty but bland, this 'spoons is in an old cinema building, and the vegan evangelists have flowered up the places around it, making it rather pleasant to look at and smell. I only dropped guests there today after a funeral, so I can't directly comment on the food, but I expect it's sensible and properly cooked like every other 'spoons I've been to, expect to pay 10-15 per plate, plus drinks.
Went for Sunday morning breakfast. Been to many weather-spoons in Manchester. This place was quiet and calm. Crowded enough, but enough space. Good food and good service. Easy to find parking space.Food: 5/5
Absolutely stunning building from outside, average and crowded inside. Overally a nice place to have meal in with standard Witherspoons quality. Staff is quick and friendly. Would gladly go here againFood: 4/5
If you like old buildings, this is a great place. Stain glass windows, stain glass lamp shades, and a real atmosphere of an age gone past. The usual fair of simple food and real ale at sensible prices. An old snooker Hall being put to an excellent use.Food: 4/5
