Great service and good food. Nice ambience and decor. The most impressive thing I have to say is the service. Our waiter was very friendly & helpful especially with my friend who has food allergies. He brought out the allergen menu and also double-checked with the kitchen. The outside of the pub looks old but the inside is very modern but also warm & welcoming. We had the blood orange G&Ts which were superb. I had the chicken tarragon croquettes which were delicious with a great dip. The spiced lamb scotch egg was missing spice and the dip tasted a bit strange - perhaps just not to my taste. All is all highly recommended, definitely worth visiting and trying the food.
Nice meal and a pint here before the football at Craven Cottage, easy 20 minutes walk to the ground, gets very busy on match days so make sure you book a table, well worth it.
Visited the spotted horse on a Tuesday afternoon! The atmosphere was absolutely buzzing, really in the Christmas spirit. The ski lodge conversation from the roof terrace is superb! Deffo will be coming back again. Would recommend anyone to book their Christmas party here!!! Thank you so much to the staff especially Ava and Ethan for being so accommodating and handling everything so well.
Arrived at The Spotted Horse on New Year's Day at about 2:00 pm. The restaurant was about 75% full. I waited a good 5 minutes along with several others at the bar, and noted that there was only one member of staff, who was not only serving drinks at the bar but also collecting and delivering food throughout the pub. This poor level of service on such a special day was unacceptable and my party an I left. Very disappointing!
Fantastic pub, got there unwillingly but will be back certainly. And I did again and again. I guess it is my local pub now. Stripes well earned :
Lovely big pub right on Putney high street. Its warm and comfortable with lots of different types of seating. The food is very tasty, they serve higher quality pub food. You can order food and drink from your table using the app. Staff are friendly and helpful
Regular haunt when in the Putney area. Good pub, nearly always busy, especially when Fulham are playing at home. Good selection of beers and lagers served by quick and attentive staff.
Decent Young's pub very close to Putney Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I last visited including the brewery's delicious Winter Warmer. Not too busy after the Spurs game at Craven Cottage. Rooftop outdoor terrace.
Nice space, nice staff, better deserts.
Nice atmosphere and service was mixed. We had two steaks medium rare was bloody and med , med rare. Chips dry. Was OK but could do better
