Quiet and relaxed environment, open fire and warm interior. Everything you want after a long drive to Inverness. Ordered the Diablo pizza and a pint, was pleasantly surprised to see it was made fresh, served in an acceptable time and tasted delicious. Staff were very welcoming and friendly too. If I had any complaints it would be the pricing on some dishes was a bit high considering the kind of food and the locale. Despite this I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.

Poor starter, excellent main meal, poor dessert. Staff seemed stand-offish and waited ages for our desserts to arrive, only to receive a minuscule portion with not even half a scoop of ice cream. This was after me requesting ice cream when ordering. Cutlery on the table was dirty. The main meal being great is the only reason for two stars otherwise it would be one.

I had a veg tart which had plenty of nice veg, and my husband had a burger, both meals were not bad. We were waiting a while to get served due to only one member of staff serving. The staffing could have been organised much better, very sporadic serving, and the manager disappeared regularly. I am sure he was busy but on many occasions the bar was left without staff, so a queue formed which left you waiting some time to get served. We come through inverness regularly, and will probably find elsewhere to eat next time.

Service mega slow-half hour after ordering drinks before they came.All glasses on the table were filthy.Vegetables in the main meal were cold.A chair had jelly on it which my Dad almost sat on!We ended up walking out.Was a nightmare of a meal and staff weren't even bothered!
