We came on a Sunday night just before 6, thankfully we were able to get seated without a reservation. Shortly after we were seated, others were turned away who hadn't booked in advance.nFood was great. The hostess/server was fantastic, she was busy all evening and it was fun to watch her work.nNix,Ryan and Talea provided excellent service.
We Googled for dog friendly pubs in Inverness and this was top of the list. Went to the website and it recommended booking a table as there is only one area of the bar that they allow dogs in. It said to ring but the number on the page was wrong so we just drove there and got a table straight away. They actually moved us to another table as they had a reservation within 40 minutes and didn't want us to feel pressured. They even brought a bowl of water and some dog treats across. We had the melted Camembert with Pumpkin seeds to share...the chutney served with it was superb and there was plenty of bread to share. The pork belly with cabbage, broccoli, carrots, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding was superb and just the right amount. The reason for only 3 stars is that after the Camembert starter it was 45 minutes before we received the main course and it wasn't exactly rammed, though the waitress did apologise. Even so would definitely recommend it and will probably pop in on our return from up North.
Great place to have lunch, plenty of parking, dog friendly and has a lovely seating area outside in the garden, clean toilets. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed in and shown to our seat, we didn't book. Drinks and food service was quick and the boy who served us was friendly. I had the fish finger sandwich and fries. It was so much better than expected! Was a lovely thin crispy battered piece of fish, tartare sauce on a soft roll with thin crispy fries so delicious . Hubby had lasagna, garlic bread a wee pot of salad and a side of chunky fries again delicious . Would definitely recommend a visit and will definitely go back again.
Vintage looking inn/pub. Comfortable seating. The service was fantastic. We were in for lunch after a recommendation, the girl with the colourful hair was lovely, she seated us quickly and checked dietary requirements, we did the lunch time 2 courses for £15.95. we went away absolutely stuffed. The food was fantastic. The server came round a couple of time to make sure all was ok. All in all highly recommend!
Delicious lunch, the sea bass dish in particular was beautiful, fab mini puds with coffee too! Professional and friendly service, in particular Hayley, thank you
