I recently visited Pizza Hut, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While our server was polite and did check in with us, apologising for the delays in food service, the cleanliness of the restaurant was appalling.nnAmbiance:nnThe restaurant was in a state of disarray. The heat lamp area was filthy and clearly hadn’t been wiped down since the last buffet. The floor around the salad bar was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been swept in hours. We were seated next to dirty tables full of dishes and cups, which remained uncleared for 45 minutes despite the restaurant not being particularly busy.nnService:nnAlthough our server was courteous, the overall service was lacking, particularly in terms of cleanliness. When we spoke to the manager, Kamil, he took no responsibility for the unclean conditions and instead made excuses, saying they were understaffed and that running a restaurant was challenging. We even observed him attempt to clean a table, but he didn’t finish the job properly. It was only after we called him out on it that he hastily wiped down the tables and booths.nnFood:nnDespite the poor conditions of the restaurant, the food itself was excellent. The pizza was delicious, with a perfectly baked crust and fresh toppings. It’s a shame that the enjoyment of the food was overshadowed by the unclean environment and poor management.nnBilling Issue:nnUpon paying, we noticed that our bill didn’t match the meal deal we had selected. We were informed that this was because we had chosen a stuffed crust pizza, which apparently wasn’t included in the meal deal. However, this option was offered to us by the waitress as part of the deal. It seems like a trap others might easily fall into as well. Fortunately, Liam, Kamil’s boss, addressed this issue by giving us a discount, which was much appreciated.nnOverall:nnOverall, my visit to Pizza Hut was highly disappointing. The lack of cleanliness and the manager's dismissive attitude towards maintaining hygiene standards were unacceptable. While the food was excellent, the overall dining experience was marred by the unclean environment and poor management.nnHowever, I would like to commend Liam, Kamil's boss, who truly saved the restaurant that day. He was very understanding and polite, listened to our concerns, and made no excuses. He explained that he was unaware of the restaurant's state as he was in the kitchen helping out. Liam's professionalism and prompt action in addressing our concerns were greatly appreciated.nnI hope that the management takes serious steps to improve the cleanliness and service of this establishment. As it stands, I would not recommend this Pizza Hut location to others, but Liam’s efforts give me hope for improvement in the future.
For a start the restaurant was just cold, multiple people had jackets on, and me and my partner both felt cold. The sofa seat was sticky and uncomfortable. The place is clearly in need of some repairs like the damaged seat and missing wooden trim piece on the seat opposite us.nnThey seem to have a real lack of staff as those we saw were always busy. This seemed to be the cause of many of the issues.nnWe were there for almost two hours for a two course meal. We even had to ask to get our deserts as the staff seemed to have forgotten about there being customers in the restaurant while they were trying to catch up cleaning all the dirty tables that had been sitting for ages.nnThe salad bar is pretty lacking in choice. We were hoping for carrot sticks, or cheese cubes or olives but they were not available.nnThe food itself was really good apart from being the greasiest pizza I have ever had. I felt required to degrease the underside of the pizza as otherwise it tasted revolting.nnWho actually likes ordering using a qr code? All it does is add hassle to the dining experience and remove human interaction from the evening. Fine for a McDonald's, not for a pizza hut that is not a cheap meal. No way I would tip a waitress that doesn't even take your order when it is such an impersonal dining experience. What is next, a counter and people go collect their own food from the kitchen like you already have to do with the drinks?nnPaper straws suck. No one likes using them and there were no spare straws near the drinks machine for when they inevitably turn into a soggy mess. Why not have metal straws that can be washed? Or plastic as it is not like people have stopped being wasteful since everywhere converted to paper straws...nnMight be back just so my kids can go to the Ice Cream Factory as it is good and is one of the few redeeming features.nnFor takeaway I'd still go back, there is not much on offer for dining in though sadly.
We ordered a pizza that costed 30 pounds. What arrived was essentially a cardboard dipped in oil with some artificial flavoring sprinkled around. The place looks outdated and it is filthy too. Greasy tables, trash on the floor, every surface is pretty disgusting. It feels like a robbery even considering the already ridiculous restaurant prices in the UK. We had decent pizzas made of actual ingredients in nice clean restaurants for half the price.
Ordered 2 large pizzas and cheese triangles for collection through their app. Was given a collection time of 15-20 minutes.nnWe arrived after 20 minutes at around 6pm. There was a queue and we were told it was quite busy so we would need to wait a little longer for our meal.nnAround an hour later we spoke to the manager who said they had checked our order and expected it to be no more than a further 15 minutes.n45 minutes later, after some orders that had been placed after ours had been collected we once again checked with the manager.nShe then told us that our order had disappeared from the system but she would go and make it now however they had run out of pan dough so it would have to be thin base and it would take a further 15 minutes.nBy this time we had lost faith that our food would ever actually arrive so requested the order be cancelled and refunded which apparently can't be done in store so we left and we will have to fight it out with customer service.nnPretty horrendous experience.nI only thing I can't fault is the young team members who were doing their absolute best to get orders processed and turn round what was clearly a dire situation. The lack of honest information and poor setting of expectations from the manager was extremely disappointing.nI totally understand that things go wrong from time to time but the way it was handled this evening was completely inadequate.
I recently visited Pizza Hut and had an overall great experience. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of pizzas and other menu options to choose from. Each pizza we tried was delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked crusts. The selection of toppings and crust styles allowed everyone to find something we like.nnOne of the standout features of this Pizza Hut location was how child-friendly it was. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating to families with children. They provided crayons and coloring sheets to keep the little ones entertained while we waited for our food. The atmosphere was lively but not too noisy, making it a pleasant place for a family meal.nnService was impressively quick. From the moment we placed our order to the time the food arrived at our table, everything was efficient and timely. The staff were attentive and checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed, including refills on drinks and additional napkins.nnOverall, this Pizza Hut location exceeded our expectations. The combination of good food, a child-friendly environment, and quick service made for an enjoyable dining experience.
