A fairly good Sunday lunch sat by a nice warm fire. The pub was also dog friendly. I was also told a new owner is taking over from Wednesday 18th April 2018, so everything could change. Hopefully they will keep the standard's up or better them.

Comfortable homely warm welcoming pub. Food was excellent from the all day breakfast, BBQ chicken and home made cottage pie was delicious puddings weed yummy too. Stop here often and always enjoy the good and the staff are welcoming and hospitable without being over the top definitely 10/10 all round.

A lovely Sunday lunch for four adults and three children plus a welcome bowl of water for the dog. I am vegan and whilst there ae no vegan options, per se, the landlady bent over backwards to accommodate me and I ended up with a very good nut roast, with veggies, gravy and chips. Excellent...! 😊😋

Friend and I have just spent the weekend on a Brit stop at this lovely establishment and I have to say it was a lovely experience. James and is strong staff team showed us a lovely warm welcome and nothing was to much trouble. The Locals are very friendly and made us feel at home. The roast dinner was excellent. I would highly recommend this inn to friends and family. We will definitely be revisiting. Thank you James, staff and locals we had a fab time.

Had lunch today to celebrate my mums and brothers birthdays. With the exception of the good company there was not much to celebrate regarding the food. My mum and i had the half all day breakfast. It was cold, tasteless and the portions were so small for the price. Not value for money. My brother had the hunters chicken which was dry and hard inside. He spoke to a member of staff who was more than happy to exchange it. He had the pie of the day which also contained chicken. Again the chicken was dry and hard. The vegetables were cold. When the member of staff asked if everything was okay after we had finished we explained the issues with our meals. She offered us a 10% discount. Personally i feel that didn't suffice and paid begrudgingly. We will never go there again.
