Lyndhurst is blighted by too many cookie cutter "tea room" style eateries, but this one is a cut above. Quaintly decorated, and with some fantastic food and drink on offer. It is, however, let down by the painfully slow service. The Eggs Benedict, which I have had more times than I can shamelessly admit, are some of the very best I have ever had. Shame they were cold more often than not. Improve the service, and the sky is the limit.

I like it in here but it seems to be trying too hard. Prices are steep. Its trendy these days to adopt the phrase "buy local produce" in your business. But that doesn't mean you can add 25% to its price. Service is average in here when it's busy.

Always able to get a table. Buggy and dog friendly too, which is a massive plus! Local food, always tastes great!

Had a wonderful lunchtime meal at The Forage yesterday. The ambiance of the place is superb and the staff very friendly. However, it is the quality of the food which makes the place just outstanding. Everything is so clearly freshly sourced locally. The burger is to die for as are the chips.well done Forage. I'll be back!

Great fresh food and a selection of local jam and honey available, great selection of sarnies and paninis, and they serve breakfasts!
