Lovely pub, visited with our two friends and two dogs. Sat inside in their cosy snug to the right hand side, was perfect for the dogs to settle. Although the food is on the slightly more expensive side of a gastro-pub, it's absolutely amazing and you definitely get what you pay for. Portions are large and the quality and presentation was excellent. Service was really good even with it being a busy Sunday, could not fault anything! Thank you so much!
First time visit nWe were made welcome the moment we walked through the door by the lovely woman behind the bar.nWe ordered drinks and food.nService was on point by both ladies who were working today.nFood was lovely and filling.nIt was quite busy, they worked really hard this afternoon.nWe shall definitely visit again for a bite to eat.nThank you for making us welcome and for the perfect service ladies
First visit back in around a year, fantastic as always and the new menu is divine. Great value for money, fast service and general all round good atmosphere!nnWe had the goats cheese bon bons and ribs to start, the ribs were phenomenal and I recommend to anyone visiting. We then had the chicken burger with aspen fries and fish and chips. Fish was super fresh and the burger incredibly tasty.
Came here for Sunday lunch and overall was not worth the money.nnFoodnnTasty but very small portions for close to £20 for mains. Dessert of Sticky Toffee Pudding was great.nnServicennNon existent. Took over 30 minutes to take our orders. Very slow and painful. Asked for a St Clement’s which I know isn’t a popular drink, waitress said “yes” then disappeared never to be seen again. Coke took 30 minutes to arrive so ordered at the bar.nnLocationnnDecent village pub with nice walking opportunitiesnnOverallnnNot worth the money especially for the poor service.
Lovely place to eat. The food was so amazing omg. My burger was to die for. 100% would recommend if you’re in the area. Beef burger was tasty. My grandma had the soup of the day which was Tomato and Chickpea she enjoyed that too. Lovely outside seating area too especially if the weather is nice. Umbrellas available on the benches.
